Chestnut-rumped Thornbill (Acanthiza uropygialis)

The Chestnut-rumped Thornbill is widespread in woodland, scrubland and open country in the interior of southern half of Australia. It is not found along the east coast and ranges of the east coast and absent from the far southwest of WA. Here we get a look at birds entering and leaving a nest in a crack in a tee trunk.
