Satin Flycatcher (Myiagra cyanoleuca)

The Satin Flycatcher is an uncommon inhabitant of rainforest and wet forest along the coast and ranges of eastern Australia from Cape York in the north to Tasmania in the south. A summer breeding migrant in the south.

Shares its range with the similar Leaden flycatcher.  In the southeast of Australia at least Satin Flycatchers tend to be found in tall forest in the ranges whereas the Leaden Flycatcher is more typically encountered in woodland and more open forest.
