White-throated Gerygone (Gerygone albogularis)

The White-throated Gerygone is a small hyperactive little insectivore found in northern, eastern and southeastern Australia. In the southern part of its range it is migratory. Its distinctive calls (heard here) carry well in woodland, the bird itself can be relatively hard to see. Common in woodland in the Canberra region during the warmer months of the year.
