The Yellow-throated Scrubwren is an inhabitant of the gloomy dense undergrowth of rainforests on the east coast of Australia from SE Queensland to the Illawarra region to the south of Sydney NSW. A separate population is found in the wet tropics of north Queensland. While not uncommon in its habitat, is is a difficult bird to get a clear view of. This short clip was filmed in Nowra, NSW, close the the southern limit of its range. Can be found with the similar and closely related White-browed Scrubwren.
